Our Story

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Six years ago, after a twenty-year career and a job loss, I set out to start my own business. Little did I know life had other plans.

Due to circumstances out of my control, I lost both my health and nearly my entire net worth.  I eventually had to sell my home and most of what I owned and move into a small rental.   I painfully learned just how real evil is.

Thankfully my health has improved enough to reengage in my career, just in a different way, with a different process and a much different purpose.

Though much of the last six years has been a painful path, I learned a lot.  The knowledge I gained of value specific to this endeavor is the power of branding and digital marketing.

Among other things, I will draw from the successes I’ve had raising assets in the ETF business, along with the expertise of those involved with Speartip Branding and Marketing to help ETF sponsors promote their products.

Though InFocusETFs was created to serve product sponsors, ultimately, we all serve the decision makers of our industry, specifically those who are in an advisory or fiduciary role on behalf of investors. Decision makers such as financial advisors, portfolio managers, and investment committee members are ultimately who decide which products and product sponsors are successful in our business.

Having had many thousands of conversations with these types of decision makers over my career, part of my role is to ensure our efforts remain laser focused on what we know is important to them, which is their clients and their business.

To do our best to provide value added industry related content on topics ranging from business development to best practices we have begun a content center at TheAdvisorsAdvocate.com, where we will create and curate content for the investment advisory industry. The site will continue to be improved and upgraded as we move forward.

Though I’ve been out of commission and out of touch for a while, I look forward to reconnecting with those I’ve known for years and making new connections as well.
